We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks that support the smooth operation of our office. This role requires experience in a similar role which included clerical duties, data entry, as well as excellent communication skills and a professional phone etiquette.
Days of Work:-
Wed - Fri - 9am - 3pm
Half Hour Lunch break
Responsibilities
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently using various software applications, including Microsoft and Xero Accountancy systems.
Handle incoming calls with professionalism, providing excellent phone etiquette while addressing inquiries or directing calls appropriately.
Maintain organised filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, to ensure easy retrieval of information.
Support accounts department with financial processes by managing invoices and assisting with bookkeeping tasks in Xero.
Experience
Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficient in using computerised systems for data entry and document management; familiarity with Microsoft is essential.
Experience with Xero or similar accounting software is advantageous but not mandatory.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to interact effectively with colleagues and clients alike.
A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team will be highly valued.
