Thistle Decorators was established in 1984, delivering high quality painting and decorating in Edinburgh. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our administrative team.
The job will be varied, often with multiple priorities to consider. Someone who is calm and focused is essential. The job holder will enjoy working as part of a team producing a consistently high standard of work. This will be a varied role but one that touches on all aspects of the business and the people working within it.
Part time: 30 hours per week
Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 2:30pm (30 mins for lunch)
Competitive Salary: 24,000 to 26,000 (pro rata) depending on experience
Job Role
Managing telephone calls, emails, and customer enquiries
Accounts payable/credit control functions
Daily management of emails
Data Entry
Document Control
Reconciliation of supplier & customer statements
Upload supplier invoices onto accounting system XERO
Assisting with processing of invoices
Issuing of invoices and debt control
Stock ordering
New staff onboarding
Booking of internal/external training
Diary organisation for Contracts Manager and site
Administering enquiries through to jobs then completion
Managing databases
Insurance claims and renewals
General administrative duties
Skills Required
Strong time management, organisation, attention to detail and being able to prioritise workload.
MS Office and excel
