Role overview:



We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Administration Assistant to join our residential conveyancing team in Leeds. The ideal candidate will assist on a variety of conveyancing transactions and contribute to the continued success of our firm. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a great team within a thriving legal practice.

Key responsibilities:



Open files and conduct initial due diligence.

Assist the lawyers with a range of conveyancing transactions.

Preparing documentation such as contract packs, mortgage and search reports under supervision.

Prepare transfer documents under supervision, routine correspondence and requisitions on title.

Reviewing and checking sale enquiries.

Obtain and check redemption figures, helping prepare files for exchange and completion.

Liaising with Clients, Solicitors, Estate Agents and other professionals in person, on the phone and by email.

Assist with file closure.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet targets and uphold the firm's reputation for excellence.

Required qualifications and skills:



Knowledge of residential conveyancing law, regulations, and best practices is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

Excellent client care skills and the ability to build good rapport.

High level of attention to detail and organisational skills.

Proficient in case management systems and IT tools.

An enthusiastic, positive can-do attitude is a must.
