B & X Construction Ltd is currently looking for an Office Administrator to join our team based in ACTON. We require minimum of at least two years experience in a similar or previous role within the construction industry and have the ability to work on your own initiative and also as a team.
Experience and Skills
Exceptional communication (both verbal and written)
Computer Skills & Microsoft Office and Accounts Software - Xero, Word, Excel etc.
Attention to detail
Ability to multi-task
Flexible, punctual & trustworthy
Ability to be proactive and think outside the box
Efficient with excellent organisational skills
Good work ethic, willingness to learn
The job
Ensuring internal processes are well-organised and discipline is followed
Interacting with clients either on the phone or in person
Following up on business communications, accounts, billing, and ordering, etc
Scheduling and organising appointments and events
Various admin activities to help with sales and marketing
Giving feedback on office efficiency and suggesting possible improvements
Positive attitude to various ad-hoc administrative tasks
There is certainly room to grow within the company and an interest in trading would be beneficial. The above list of responsibilities is not exhaustive.
