Job Description

We are an expanding company, based in Wythenshawe, specialising in the collection and recycling of all types of batteries, with collections throughout the UK. An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Office Administrator to join our team, to provide administration support in a busy office.
The ideal candidate would be customer focused, reliable with good administration skills and telephone manner, along with the ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment and to tight deadlines. Proficiency in Google applications along with Microsoft word, Excel etc.
Good geographical knowledge of the UK is an advantage.

This is a varied role which will entail a range of duties, including, the processing of customer orders, maintaining a close relationship with customers, the sales team and drivers. Managing customers expectations on collections and maintaining regular communication with the customer in relation to all supply chain issues affecting orders.

This is a full time position. We require someone to be flexible with working hours, office hours are 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday but flexibility is essential as occasionally there may be a requirement to cover earlier or later.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Answer telephone - take customer queries and process customer orders via phone and email. Good spoken English and telephone manner is required. Ensure that customer service standards are fulfilled to the highest standard. Ensure that customer complaints or issues are dealt with efficiently and effectively. To work closely alongside the sales team and drivers, preparing collection paperwork and setting up collection routes. Maintain office filing and storage systems Carry out general administration duties as directed and required. To complete all other duties and responsibilities as requested by your line Manager Monitor incoming emails and answer or forward as required Accurately update and maintain databases for collection history
Requirements: office administration: min 2 years (Preferred)

The ability to easily commute to Wythenshawe M23 area is essential.

Salary: Starting at 12 per hour, increasing following successful probation period.
