Job Description

We are a small, well established data networking business seeking an organised and confident Office Administrator to join our close-knit team. This is a vital role at the heart of our company, where you'll be the first point of contact for our valued clients and the linchpin that keeps our office running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing:

Client Communication: Managing all enquiries via telephone and email. Building relationships with new and our long standing clients is an important part of the role.

Planning: We have a small team of engineers and multiple jobs running at once. You will assist in creating job sheets with key information on projects and installations.

Financial Admin: Handling all things payroll using Sage and keeping our invoicing, expenses and paperwork in order.

Health & Safety: Creating and managing important documentation like Risk Assessments and Method Statements.

What We're Looking For:

A friendly, professional, and reliable administrator who can manage multiple tasks with a keen eye for detail.

Someone with previous experience in a similar role and comfortable working in a small team environment.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in an office administration or similar role, preferably within a small business.

Proficiency in Sage Payroll and experience with basic accounts functions.

Strong organisational and time management skills, with excellent attention to detail.

Confident and professional telephone manner with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Strong IT skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Ability to work independently and proactively, taking ownership of tasks and projects.

Desirable:

Previous experience in a similar role in the construction or telecoms sector.

Experience producing Risk Assessments and Method Statements.

Competitive salary based on experience.

Located in Partick, with accessible public transport links or parking space available onsite

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year
