To provide administrative support to directors and senior managers in order to achieve strategic objectives, and dealing with constantly shifting priorities to ensure the smooth running of the office.
Estimating using "Evolution" software to produce quotations for windows, doors and conservatories.
Answering the telephone, taking thorough messages and forwarding to colleagues.
Issue of quotations to clients, after peer review, and associated order processing.
Requesting prices from suppliers.
Dealing with enquiries from clients and suppliers through face-to-face, telephone and email contact.
Receiving and checking delivery consignments, reporting damages, errors or omissions to relevant supplier, and follow-up through to problem resolution.
Providing copy quotations to sales staff when requested.
Focusing on providing a high quality service to clients to maintain the reputation of the business.
Meeting deadlines set by directors.
Remaining focussed under pressure.
Prioritising workloads efficiently and effectively.
Acting as an ambassador of the company, always presenting the best image to existing and potential new clients.
General housekeeping duties to keep trade displays and public areas clean and tidy.
Scanning and filing of production documents and delivery notes.
To keep client database up to date.
Word processing, filing and archiving.
Dealing with emails and incoming/outgoing mail.
Order processing and issue of confirmation acknowledgements.
Supporting the brand development, merchandising and strategic and tactical planning.
