Job Description

This is a full time, office based position in our Stamford, Lincolnshire office (Broad Street, PE9 1PB).

Reporting to the Office Manager, the purpose of this role is to assist the team of PAs to provide professional, comprehensive and efficient office support by means of a vast range of secretarial services and otherwise, specifically tailored to meet the needs of individual businesses.

The successful applicant should be able to perform all necessary duties required to ensure the smooth running of any office, so that all tasks are completed precisely and delivered at a high quality, in a timely manner.

Working as part of a team, for a diverse range of clients, within a fast paced, small business, we are looking for someone who has both drive and determination to see our clients succeed and prosper.

Key Responsibilities



Collect mail for our 'Business Mail Address' clients on a daily basis and action accordingly; Acting as a Virtual Receptionist for our many Telephone Call Answering Clients, taking messages and dealing with queries, including dealing with voicemails appropriately; Assisting the team with organising training materials for a client including collating, dispatching and stock control; Running errands including taking parcels to the post office, purchasing stationery etc; Proofreading documents; Printing and binding documents; General office administration and duties for the team and clients, at any given time; Creating, formatting and editing documents in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel; Using Trello as part of the team and also for our clients, to ensure tasks are logged, updated and followed up; Greet visitors; Make refreshments.

A very high standard of customer service and communication skills both written and verbal, being clear, concise and easy to comprehend at all times; Excellent organisational skills demonstrated by implementing the key principles of time management, task allocation and priority assignment in order to meet deadlines and ensure client satisfaction; Fast and accurate touch-typing skills would be preferable but not essential; A polite and confident telephone manner; Outstanding attention to detail; A natural sense to follow up and see tasks through to completion; Common sense and a practical, hands on approach are key attributes of this role; Proficient and confident approach to working with MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Minimum of one year's experience within a busy office environment; Positive, professional and efficient can-do attitude; The ability to remain calm under pressure and unflustered!

Pay: Up to 24,000.00 per year
