The successful applicant will carry out data entry, spreadsheet work, working with confidential documents, scanning, copying, and filing.
Receptionist duties will also be undertaken as required, including greeting customers and taking notes of customer's borrowing requirements.
Completion of computer based training will be provided but knowledge around money laundering and data protection must be kept up to date.
Working in a regulated environment, so accuracy, confidentiality and being able to work under pressure are essential qualities.

Financial services industry, primarily mortgage and insurance business. Will be required to work from office address in Thirsk.
Part-time contract, working two days a week. Monday is required as one of the working days but there is flexibility for the other working day.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
No previous experience in financial services needed. Attitude and conscientiousness are much more important. Will need to work well under pressure and also be comfortable when working alone.
General computer skills must be proficient. Grasp of mathematics is essential, minimum grade C in Maths and English. Confidence when dealing with customer enquiries is also highly beneficial.
