We are a small but growing training company delivering courses nationwide, primarily within the Construction and Utilities industries. We are looking for a confident, organised, and proactive Office Administrator to join our friendly, close-knit team and help support the smooth running of our business.
This is a varied, office-based role in a beautiful rural location, ideal for someone who enjoys office work and is willing to learn. You will liaise with trainers and customers, manage course paperwork, and support the smooth running of the business. Previous experience in training, construction, or utilities is helpful but not essential. Reliable transport is required, as the office location is not easily accessible by public transport.
Duties
Answer incoming calls professionally and handle customer and trainer enquiries
Update our CRM system with candidate and course information
Liaise with trainers and customers regarding course paperwork
Check course paperwork and ensure it meets requirements, scanning and filing as needed
Scan, upload, and post accreditations and certificates within SLA timeframes
Create and issue training certificates to candidates and clients
Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems
Chase outstanding paperwork from trainers when required
Prepare and send routine correspondence and emails to customers
Send attendance registers to customers promptly, within our SLA time frame
Support general office administration to help the business run smoothly
Requirements
Comfortable using a computer and learning new systems (Apple Mac experience helpful, but not essential)
Organised and attentive to detail
Confident and professional telephone manner
Able to prioritise tasks and manage multiple workloads, and work independently or as part of a small team
Eager to learn and willing to take on new responsibilities
Desirable (but not essential)
Experience in a training provider, construction, or utilities environment
Knowledge of awarding bodies or certification processes
