Our Office Administrator role will suit someone with a minimum of one year's office administration experience who is enthusiastic and focused, with excellent communication, customer service, and organisational skills. The role is based in our central York office.

Reporting to the Office Manager and On-Construction Administration Manager and working as part of the company administration teams, you will be responsible for the daily administrative duties within the testing department.

Key Tasks would include:

Liaise with clients to book air tightness and acoustic tests Send email confirmations to clients Keep relevant spreadsheets updated with booking information Support monthly invoicing and ongoing accounts queries Support the company's relevant accreditations Support the organisation of CSCS cards and Health and Safety Equipment Support the ordering and coordination of PPE and Testing workwear Support the arrangement of calibration of all equipment according to due dates Ensure compliance with legislation is adhered to and all documentation is in place Ensure all equipment is accounted for, labelled, and maintained correctly Process invoicing in a timely manner Check Elmhurst and SITMA air and acoustic certificates before issuing to client them to clients Create, manage, and update air tightness testing schedules for clients Organise hire vehicles and hotels as required Liaise with and support various FES departments and directors Ensure a positive and accommodating relationship with clients Direct decisions regarding prioritising tests to senior staff members Scan, file, and maintain client records
