Overview


We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative functions within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. This paid self employed or PAYE posistion and offers an opportunity to develop your administrative expertise within a professional environment.

Prepare and process documents, reports, and correspondence in a timely manner Utilise xero for basic bookkeeping and financial record keeping Assist with filing systems, both physical and digital, to ensure easy retrieval of information Undertake payroll for paye and cis employees on a weekly basis Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns Prepare health and safety document i.e risk assements and method statements for different projects Make outgoing and incoming calls with professional phone etiquette, directing enquiries appropriately to prospective new customers and exsisting clients. Organise and schedule appointments, meetings, and events, ensuring all logistics are managed effectively Perform data entry tasks with accuracy using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.

Experience



Proven office experience or administrative experience demonstrating organisational skills and reliability Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive) Experience with data entry and familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate document preparation Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Good phone etiquette and communication skills to liaise professionally with clients, suppliers, and team members

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: 12.21-18.40 per hour
