Prolux Systems Limited is an independent, FENSA registered window and door provider, installer and manufacturer based just outside of Penryn. Our staff are dedicated to delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service and aftercare support to clients.

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator/receptionist to support our administrative, installation and manufacturing teams. This role is essential in maintaining smooth business operations and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer literacy, excellent communication skills, and experience in office management or clerical duties. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where organisational skills and professionalism are highly valued.

Duties



Manage front desk responsibilities, including greeting visitors and handling multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to ensure accuracy and organization Support office management activities including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings Provide customer support via phone and email, ensuring excellent phone etiquette and customer service standards Assist with clerical tasks such as typing correspondence, maintaining files, and processing invoices or payments Handle office supplies inventory and order necessary materials to ensure smooth daily operations

Experience



Previous office experience or administrative support roles preferred Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), XERO, Experience with front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, data entry, filing, and proofreading Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and support experience in construction or manufacturing desirable.
