We are independent family run business seeking an experienced Office and Accounts Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the all of the office administration duties and accounts. This role requires a strong understanding of standard office duties including quotations, ordering of stock, liaising with customers and handling the business accounts.
Responsibilities
Basic administration duties for the office and business.
Handling accounts, processing invoices and bookkeeping for the business via Quickbooks. (Experience is advantageous but not essential as training is provided).
Create and update records and databases with personnel and financial data.
Handling quotations to customers.
Ordering of stock including garage door components.
Liaising with customers and suppliers both face to face and via telephone and email.
Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence such as phone calls, post and emails.
Diary management, scheduling of meetings and appointments.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Adhoc tasks as required for the Company Director's.
Skills
Regular use of software including Quickbooks, Word, Excel and Outlook.
Bookkeeping and managing accounts.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
37.5 hours per week. 8 hours per day with 30 minutes unpaid lunch.
08:30am - 16:30pm, Monday - Friday.
22 days annual leave per annum plus 8 days bank holiday.
Company bonus system every December at Company discretion.
Annual pay review every April.
