Office & Finance Manager
. This is a hands-on role combining day-to-day office operations with core financial administration duties -- ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership across multiple business functions.
About the Role
As Office & Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of the company's operations and financial processes. This is a dynamic and varied role offering wide exposure across administration, accounts, credit control, and internal coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Management:
Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a safe, efficient and professional environment.
Manage supplier and facilities relationships, including ordering, building maintenance and service providers.
Coordinate meeting rooms and events.
Support internal recruitment, onboarding, training and team initiatives.
Provide high-quality administrative support to the senior leadership team.
Manage internal communications with staff and external queries from clients and vendors.
Finance & Accounts:
Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
Oversee invoice processing, supplier payments, and reconciliation of customer accounts.
Monitor and maintain credit control, issuing reminders, managing aged debt, and liaising with clients.
Perform bank reconciliations and manage daily cash flow tracking.
Assist with payroll coordination and pension submissions where required.
Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and input into quarterly reviews.
Maintain and manage finance systems and records using Xero and Sage 50.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a confident multitasker who takes initiative and brings structure to a growing business. You should be comfortable working independently while staying aligned with company objectives and financial timelines.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in an Office Manager or Finance Administrator role with accounting exposure.
Strong understanding of credit control, accounts payable and receivable.
Proficient in using accounting software -- particularly Xero and Sage 50.
Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Familiarity with financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and document handling tools.
