Responsibilities and day-to-day activities.



This role will be working closely with the Managing Director taking on the day to day management and decision making and turning ideas into life. The role is split into two key areas as set out below:

1. HR management

Recruitment and onboarding Leading, managing and holding employees accountable for delivering in their roles Manage training and employee development Managing rotas, holidays and absences Disciplinary and dismissals Weekly reviews, quarterly 1-1's and annual reviews Organising team initiatives such as christmas parties, days out and facilitating employee recognition and reward schemes
2. Office management and administration

Integrating and streamlining processes and business systems to enable to business to continue to grow without bottlenecks Document control - ensuring all documents, systems and processes are logged on a document control schedule and reviewed periodically Organising inspection, stocking and maintenance of company vehicles Organising planned and reactive maintenance of company assets and work equipment Stock control of the office and warehouse including placing supplier orders Undertake any required tasks related to the renewal of subscriptions and accreditations and updating of documents

Essential skills;



Strong HR experience, great with people, personable and empathetic but assertive when needed Techie! A keen eye for detail with business operating systems and processes with the ability to spot bottlenecks and a natural ability to find ways of improving efficiency Super organised and on the ball, taking action of things that need doing without delay Proficient administration and IT skills such as using spreadsheets and all other microsoft packages including sharepoint Overseeing adherence and certification assessments for company accreditations such as ISO9001 quality management and CHAS health and safety Meticulous and very thorough, ensuring high standards throughout the business Team leadership including training and holding people accountable for their key deliverables Excellent communication, written and verbal You must be confident to lead a team and set a good example

The working hours for the role will be 7:30am until 4:00pm Monday to Friday inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break and the location of work will be from Unit 4 Lendal Court, Nottingham NG7 4EZ.

On occasions where your team need to report sickness or other HR related issues you may need to be contactable outside of your office hours.
