Job Description

Roselyn Coaches is a family run business looking for an assistant operations planner between our busy office's at our Cornwall and Plymouth branches where we operate 40+ vehicles and require someone to help assist with the day to day running's within the depot's. Main responsibilities will include assisting in the day to day operations and administration alongside communicating with the drivers. To be successful in this role, you must be a confident decision maker, flexible, approachable and able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a busy team.

Roles and Responsibilities:-

- Dealing with drivers from both depots and customer transport issues

- Answering the telephone

- Administration and writing reports

- Be able to cover the 24/7 emergency on call duty telephone on a rota basis

- PHC system (training will be provided) to allocate vehicles and drivers to daily services and hires

- Customer contact

Skills and Experience:-

- Customer service focused

- Good telephone manner and communication skills

- Highly organised

- Organisation and planning skills to manage your time and meet deadlines

- Must work well under pressure

Essential, Qualifications and Education Requirements:-

- Office experience

- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

- Good computer skills, willing to learn our coach manager system

- A clean UK driving licence

- Able to work in a flexible manner to suit workload demands

- Good geographical knowledge

Working hours will be 07:00 - 17:30 Monday to Thursday and 07:00 - 18:00 on a Friday 40 weeks of the year but some overtime may be required from time to time within our busy periods, holidays and half terms are reduced hours of 08:00 - 17:00. Plus you may be required to work occasional Saturdays as overtime if and when required.
