Overview:
World Care Foundation is a UK-based humanitarian charity committed to supporting those most in need around the world. We are looking for a proactive and organised Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office and provide vital support to our projects and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- General administrative duties including data entry, filing, and document management
- Answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling correspondence
- Assisting with event planning, logistics, and volunteer coordination
- Supporting project managers and CEO with paperwork, printing, and record-keeping
- Maintaining office supplies and ensuring a tidy, well-organised workspace
- Welcoming visitors and handling inquiries in a professional manner
- Assisting with social media or donor communication
- Any other support tasks as required by the management team
Requirements:
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Good verbal and written communication
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Previous admin or office experience is desirable but not essential
- Passion for charitable work and alignment with the values of World Care Foundation
