Background
We are currently looking for an Office Assistant to join our London Office. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth day to day running of the office and supporting our legal teams. The successful candidate will play a key part in maintaining efficient office operations and assisting with general administration.
The role
It is anticipated that the duties will include the following:
Maintenance of files, mostly digital, some paper.
Receive and sort any internal and external mail (both digital and hard copy) as well as dealing with any outgoing mail including dealing with deliveries and collections as required
Arranging files to be archived
Booking internal and external meeting rooms and ensuring internal meeting rooms are ready for use and cleared away promptly
Making travel and hotel bookings for lawyers as needed
Setting up conferencing facilities, both telephone and Teams
Scanning and photocopying and general administration work
Maintaining office supplies and ordering when required
Meeting and greeting clients and visitors from our other offices
Skills and qualifications
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organisational and time management skills
Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
Able to communicate effectively
