Job Overview


We are looking for a proactive and organised Office Manager / Administrative Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our busy print production environment. This role is central to keeping the office running smoothly -- managing enquiries, coordinating internal workflows, supporting staff across departments, and ensuring customers receive timely responses and updates.

Although we operate within the print sector, print experience is not required. We are looking for someone with strong administrative skills, excellent communication, and the ability to take ownership of daily tasks with confidence.

Key Responsibilities



Customer Communication

Answer incoming calls and emails, ensuring all enquiries are responded to quickly and professionally. Act as the first point of contact for customers, suppliers, and visitors. Follow up on outstanding queries and ensure communication loops are closed.
Order & Workflow Administration

Raise customer orders using internal systems Support the production team by ensuring job information is complete and correct. Monitor job progress and update customers where required. Assist with coordinating delivery schedules, collections, and internal job handovers.
Office Management

Maintain general office organisation, supplies, and housekeeping. Ensure staff have the materials and information they need to work efficiently. Help coordinate holiday calendars, lateness reporting, and basic HR/admin tasks. Liaise with management regarding any operational issues affecting workflow.
Operational Support

Prepare daily task lists or reminders to ensure team activities stay on track. Escalate delays or production issues where necessary. Work closely with the Technical Director and production leads to keep communication flowing between departments.

What We're Looking For



Strong administrative experience in an office-based role. Excellent communication skills -- confident on the phone and via email. Someone who is organised, structured, and able to manage multiple priorities. A proactive mindset: someone who gets on with tasks without being prompted. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and "politely chase" colleagues when needed. Good IT literacy (email, spreadsheets, order systems, etc.). A positive attitude and willingness to take ownership of daily office operations.
Experience in print or production environments is welcome but not essential.

Public transport links are not great so driving is recommended.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 27,000.00-35,000.00 per year
