We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to run the back office for our plumbing & heating business. Working alongside the Operations Manager, the ideal candidate will have proven administrative skills, be passionate about good customer service and have some basic accounting knowledge.
Duties
Run the office on a day-to-day basis
Schedule jobs and arrange follow up work as and when required
Maintain accurate records using Xero for financial tracking and reporting
Organise fleet maintenance
Point of contact for external providers to maintain and arrange insurance, phone systems, accountancy, advertising etc
Implement efficient organisational systems to streamline office processes
Deal with customer enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
Liaise with suppliers
Assist in the development of office policies and procedures to improve workflow
Experience
The successful candidate will have:
Proven experience in an office management or similar role
Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Experience in using Xero or similar accounting software is preferred
Worked in a small office environment
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Strong communication skills to interact positively with the engineers, management, customers and providers
