We seek a dedicated and organized Office Manager to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. As the Office Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts office and providing vital support to our project teams. The position requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses exceptional multitasking skills. You will oversee daily administrative tasks, manage a small accounts team, and coordinate communication between various departments.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily office operations and ensure efficiency.
Ensure compliance with CIS scheme & statutory filing obligations.
High-level review of weekly payroll.
Provide financial reports to the Senior Management Team.
Assist with the implementation of a new ERP system.
Fleet management.
Preparation of daily cash flow reporting.
What We're Looking For
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
Familiarity with construction industry operations
Proficiency in office software (MS Office Suite & Excel)
Strong knowledge of Sage Accounts / Payroll & Exchequer or equivalent
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Essential Criteria
Previous experience in managing a small team
Familiarity with construction industry operations
Desirable Criteria
Recognised accountancy qualification (IATI) or equivalent
