The successful candidate will gain an extensive understanding of the inner workings of our business to fully support the Managing Director and maintain the day to day running of the Office. You will be a key contributor with a well-rounded skill set, not only having a strong grasp of administrative support and operational management, but also be a flexible and a strategic thinker.
Own transport is essential due to rural location.
Your responsibilities will include:
To lead, motivate and manage the administration team
First point of contact on behalf of the Director answering queries, filtering correspondence and bringing matters to his attention as necessary
Be the escalation point for any internal or external issues, including dealing with customer complaints, investigating matters and proposing solutions
Maintain an overview of daily business communication across multiple inboxes.
Develop and manage robust administration processes and procedures
Support and develop client relationships, including new client on-boarding processes
Manage HR matters including processing new starters, sickness, timesheets and leave requests
Fleet management
Responsible for Health and Safety function
Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements, including annual renewals, record keeping, training
Assist in scheduling Field Technicians
Ordering office stock and materials for the Operations Department
Collate figures for monthly PAYE
Qualifications and Experience:
Will have senior level administration experience within a fast-paced industry
Will have experience of managing a small team of staff
Have excellent communications skills with the ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally and at all levels
Be self-motivated, able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and proven problem-solving skills
IT skills will include a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
Good working knowledge of HR processes and procedures
Good working knowledge of H&S processes and procedures within the Construction Industry (Desirable)
What we offer:
Full Time position - 37.5 hours per week: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00
Salary: 29,000.00 - 31,000.00
