About Studio Gallagher



Studio Gallagher is a bespoke furniture maker and creative workshop based in Stroud. Working with interior designers and private clients, the studio produces one-of-a-kind pieces that are both functional and sculptural, with an emphasis on craftsmanship, natural materials and detail. Every item is handmade in their Gloucestershire workshop, from initial concept through to final installation.

About the Role



This is a wide-ranging Office Manager role that will see you support day-to-day operations at Studio Gallagher while also providing essential administrative and finance support across the wider Boyce Group.

You will work directly with directors and team leads to help ensure operational clarity, financial accuracy and HR compliance across multiple businesses. It's an ideal position for someone with a strong grasp of business processes who enjoys working across both creative and commercial settings. This is a role with real visibility and responsibility--your input will directly contribute to the ongoing success of our businesses.

Key Responsibilities



Studio Gallagher - Operational & Project Support



Track and report on live project costings, materials, and labour usage Monitor the sales pipeline and quoting process Liaise with design and workshop teams to support scheduling and delivery Maintain timesheets, project workflow data, and team performance records Manage day-to-day admin, studio purchasing, and supplier communication Support HR administration including recruitment and onboarding Communicate directly with clients and designers as needed

Wider Boyce Group - Finance & Business Management



Invoice processing and reconciliation across multiple entities Assist with VAT returns, payment runs, and cash flow monitoring Maintain accurate records for accounting and compliance purposes Support contract management and lease administration Assist with staff onboarding, HR records, and payroll preparation Oversee property and business insurance renewals and documentation Monitor property and operational compliance Handle internal communications and assist with company events Provide support for statutory accounts and internal reporting Liaise with tenants, contractors, and suppliers where needed Help develop and maintain processes that support team efficiency and business visibility

Ideal Candidate



We're looking for someone with strong organisational skills, financial confidence, and a proactive mindset--someone comfortable juggling multiple priorities and working across different teams.

You will have:

At least 2 years' experience in a similar office, finance, or operations role Excellent communication skills and attention to detail A working knowledge of accounting tools (Xero preferred) and Excel A confident, professional approach to both internal and external stakeholders Experience in small businesses, creative or workshop environments preferred HR and people management experience would be an advantage A full UK driving licence (desirable, not essential)

Pay: 32,000.00-45,000.00 per year
