We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily administrative operations, supporting team management, and ensuring smooth communication across departments. The Office Administrator will play a key part in maintaining efficient office procedures, overseeing human resources functions, and supporting financial tasks using QuickBooks.
Duties
Manage daily office operations, including filing, correspondence, and scheduling appointments
Oversee and support team management activities, including staff scheduling and performance tracking
Assist with human resources functions such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records
Supervise administrative staff and coordinate their activities to ensure productivity
Utilise xero for invoicing, expense tracking, and financial reporting
Handle incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
Maintain organised records of company documents and correspondence
Support organisational projects by preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation as required
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal departments to facilitate effective communication
Ensure the office remains well-stocked and organised to support daily operations
Requirements
Proven experience in office administration or similar roles with clerical or organisational responsibilities
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent phone etiquette
Proficiency in xero accounting software is essential
Demonstrated experience in team management and supervising staff members
Knowledge of human resources practices and procedures
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Previous office experience involving administrative duties and record keeping
Ability to work independently whilst also collaborating effectively within a team
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
