Overview


We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily operations within our busy office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid background in administrative and clerical tasks. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the smooth functioning of our organisation while supporting team development and maintaining efficient office procedures.

Responsibilities



Manage and coordinate daily office activities, ensuring operational efficiency Supervise administrative staff and support team management initiatives Oversee human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee records management Utilise xero for financial record keeping, invoicing, and expense tracking Maintain organised filing systems, both electronic and paper-based Handle correspondence via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and courtesy Ensure effective communication across departments and with external clients or suppliers Implement organisational policies and procedures to improve workflow Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and managing calendars Support office supply procurement and inventory management

Qualifications



Proven experience in office management or administrative roles, preferably with supervisory responsibilities Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and general accounting practices Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with good phone etiquette Experience in human resources functions such as recruitment and employee relations is desirable Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively and foster a positive working environment Proficient in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Previous clerical or administrative experience is essential Ability to prioritise tasks independently whilst maintaining attention to detail
