Hertfordshire Diamond Products are again growing our team and looking for an ambitious, driven individual who is hungry to succeed and help in continuing to grow the business.
Based in Stevenage HDP specialises in the manufacturing and supplying of Industrial Diamond tipped drill bits and saw blades, used by construction companies throughout the UK and on a global scale.
Due to continued growth HDP are looking add an Office based Sales Person to the team. For the right person we are offering a generous basic salary of 28-32,000 plus being part of a company profit sharing scheme.
You will be targeted in contacting both previous customers and new to bring on new accounts, driving sales forward and maintaining our high levels of customer service. This will be the key focus after you have completed our in depth induction to the world of Diamond Drilling & Sawing and our industry leading product range.
You will also be involved with the account management and customer service of our loyal customer base, look to identify new markets and business opportunities and help shape the future of HDP.
Sales experience is preferred but the key attributes are the desire to succeed, ability overcome objections be passionate about business and negotiation, never being deterred in being told no in the first instance.

Key Responsibilities:
Identify and acquire new customers to achieve sales targets
Upsell additional and new products to the existing client base
Develop a thorough understanding of our diamond core drills and blades, including their features, benefits, and applications
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing concerns
Work closely with the external sales team and other departments to develop effective sales strategies
Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to management
Promotion of our products and expand your professional network
