Job Description
Our client, an international Bank is looking for an Officer to join their Finance Department for a 12 month fixed term contract, based at their offices near Cannon Street tube in the City of London. Further details below:
Areas of Responsibility:
Supplier maintenance
Making regular payments to the vendors/ service providers. Managing suppliers and ensuring supplier reconciliations.
Book keeping
Month end entries like depreciation, accruals and prepayments entries. GL movement, scrutiny, analysis, review on monthly basis. Regular expenses entries in accounting software.
Management Accounts
Assist in Drafting of monthly management accounts along with balance sheet analysis, income analysis. Assist in Preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
Requirement:
A good bachelor's degree and studying towards an accountancy qualification. * Experience working in financial services organisation is preferable.
