Ofsted Registered Manager, East Lancashire.

Salary 65,000 - 68,000

Significant bonus scheme of 2000 upon successful registration and 3000 per good Ofsted inspection.

Have you got what it takes to be the Registered Manager of a flagship home for children with complex needs?

We are looking for a special person to fulfil this unique role, who is passionate about working with the most vulnerable children.
You must
- want to improve the lives of children with complex needs.

- be passionate about mental health. Experience working in the mental health sector would be desirable.
- be an experienced Ofsted registered manager.
- have your NVQ level 5.
- be able to build relationships with children who may not have experienced stable relationships in the past.
- provide stating leadership to your staff team.
- offer challenge to ensure children get the help and support they need.

The home will care for up to 4 children and will be looking to meet the needs of children who have suffered or are suffering from poor mental health, which maybe for a variety of reasons.
The vision for the home is that they will support children who do not meet the criteria for a tier 4 setting, but have needs that are too complex for a mainstream Ofsted home, children may have a Deprivation of Liberty Order in place and we will offer a bespoke specialist home to meet individual needs. This role will give you freedom to be creative in supporting children.

You as the Registered Manager will be supported by our in house multiagency hub, made up of our Psychiatrist, Psychologist and Mental Health Nurses in order to manage risk and effectively plan to meet the needs of individual children.

We have developed a positive working relationship with Ofsted and are in regular communication with the specialist inspector for complex homes as well as the policy lead for this area. We are working closely with Ofsted whilst we develop this much needed, specialist home. We are excited to welcome the right candidate on this journey with us.

We have CQC and Ofsted registered homes, both of which have been graded as good on our most recent inspections. We are looking for a dedicated Registered Manager, who is extra special to lead the management of our new home for children with complex needs.

you will be joining an experienced management team and will be supported in your role by the multi-disciplinary team and senior leadership team within Associated Wellbeing. You will receive regular 1:1 supervision from our experienced Responsible Individual, who is also a Registered Social Worker, as well as peer support from other Registered Managers within the company.
