About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and committed

Ofsted Registered Manager

to lead a children's residential setting in Derby. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of care, and supporting the development and wellbeing of young people.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the children's residential home in line with Ofsted regulations Lead, mentor, and supervise care staff to ensure high-quality, person-centred care Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and regulatory standards Maintain strong communication with children, families, and external agencies Oversee staff recruitment, induction, performance management, and training

Requirements

NVQ Level 5 in Child Care or equivalent Previous experience as a

Manager in a children's residential care setting

Full UK driving licence Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills Knowledge of safeguarding, child development, and regulatory compliance
