Registered Manager - Children's Residential - Ofsted 'Good' Home (EBD/LD)

Location: GL10 Stonehouse

Salary:

46,500.00-50,500.00 per annum + bonus up to 3000 per annum

Hours: Average 37.5 hours per week

Additional: Sleep-ins and overtime paid in addition

On Call: Rota for on call

The Role:

Due to internal promotion we are seeking a dynamic Registered Manager to join our team and lead our Ofsted 'Good' specialist EBD/LD home for young people aged 5-18.In this pivotal role, you will oversee our Children's Home, ensuring that we provide the highest standards of care and support for the children in our care. Your leadership will be essential in fostering an environment where every child can thrive.

Responsibilities

Safeguarding:

Prioritise the welfare of our children.

Leadership:

Deliver the home's Statement of Purpose and manage staff effectively.

Quality Assurance:

Maintain high standards in line with Children's Home Regulations, Ofsted, and local authority audits.

Team Development:

Oversee recruitment, selection, and professional growth of your team.

Operational Management:

Manage budgets, rota schedules, and contribute to the on-call system.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Build strong relationships with external professionals and partners.

What we're looking for:

Achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Proven experience in a managerial role within children's residential setting, achieving Ofsted 'Good' or 'Outstanding' Experience with children who have learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviours Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Full UK driving license
