About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Ofsted Registered Manager (LD Short breaks home) ready to step up and create a safe, nurturing home where children can thrive.
You will have the autonomy you need as an RM while working alongside
experienced Responsible Individual who is committed to ensuring the home
operates to the highest standards.
As the RM, you will also act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, bringing your
expertise and passion for safeguarding children to the heart of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure full compliance with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015
Maintain and work toward a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating
Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people
Deliver personalised care and involve children in decision?making
Develop and maintain Care Plans and Risk Assessments
Lead, support, and supervise a committed staff team
Plan and coordinate activities, holidays, and events
Conduct staff supervisions and annual performance appraisals
Manage the home's budget and financial records
Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of the home
Complete all mandatory training within the probation period
Ensure all staff training is completed within statutory timeframes
Report regularly to the RI and Operations Manager
Obtain and maintain Ofsted registration
Maintain active registration with the DBS Update Service

What We're Looking For
? Experience:
2+ years in Residential Childcare (required)
1+ year management experience within a Residential Children's Home (required)
? Qualifications
cations & Requirements:
Level 3 Diploma in Children's and Young People Workforce (required)
Level 5 Leadership & Management in Residential Childcare (preferred)
Full UK Driving Licence (required)
