Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented O&G Registrar to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient registrations within the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department, ensuring that all data is accurately recorded and maintained. This position requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to patients.

Responsibilities

Manage the registration process for patients in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department, ensuring all necessary information is collected accurately. Verify patient information and update records as needed to maintain data integrity. Assist patients with inquiries regarding their registration and appointment details. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient scheduling of appointments. Maintain confidentiality of patient records in accordance with data protection regulations. Prepare reports related to patient registrations as required by management. Participate in training sessions and staff meetings to enhance departmental efficiency.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly within a registration or administrative role, is preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. Proficient in using computer systems and software for data entry and record management. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of medical terminology related to obstetrics and gynaecology is an advantage but not essential.

Pay: 65.00-80.00 per hour
