The Plant Attendant works as a member of the O&M (Operation and Maintenance) team and is responsible for the safe, efficient monitoring of the Plant in line with business needs. Safe and efficient plant maintenance and improvement activities are also included within your remit.

Working hours are 8 hours Monday to Friday. 06:00 to 14:30; 08:00-16:30; 12:30-21:00




Based on our site at Westfield Energy Recovery Facility in Kinglassie, Fife, UK, your duties will include but not be limited to;

Co-ordinating waste fuel deliveries, fuel handling, incoming consumables, site housekeeping, weighbridge operations, site security, driver induction and issuing site access cards. During weighbridge duties you will be the first point of contact for all visitors and contractors that arrive on site. Ensure relevant HSEQ requirements are considered in work, and in consultation with site management and the HSE team, that HSE hazards are eliminated or mitigated to the extent practicable. Take a proactive approach to safety on site and be actively involved in safety improvements. Working at height and in confined spaces, loading and unloading of vehicles, the use of the Front-Loading Shovel (FLS), Telehandler, Mobile Elevated Working Platforms (MEWPS) and Forklift Truck (FLT) as required. Training can be provided on the vehicles we use. Monitoring all areas of the plant during plant inspections and report back any defects, issues and hazards on site

Qualifications


------------------

Experience in a similar position preferable but not essential. Require a strong work ethic. Comfortable working from heights and confined spaces, plus carrying out some heavy lift and operating vehicles onsite. Strong IT skills, computer literacy. Good understanding of HSE standards, procedures, and requirements to control plant operations in a safe and efficient manner Must have the ability to react quickly and with good judgment during emergencies.
