The role

As an OMB Tax Manager at Azets, you will have the ability and motivation needed to:


Own and manage a client portfolio with minimal support from senior staff Support in delivering revenue and profitability targets Foster enduring client relationships Develop and inspire our smarter people plan Get involved in advisory projects alongside an experienced Tax team

Skills & experience

Takes the lead on technical work, other than the most complex, limiting director/partner input to higher risk matters Builds and fosters a good team spirit by engaging directly with team members and taking responsibility for team building events e.g. social events and activities, as well as general team spirit Arranges team meetings, providing agendas and sourcing matters for discussion Promotes a culture within the team of keeping on top of legislative changes. Actively organises training sessions for the team and regularly shares guidance / training material around the team to help with this Is in control of resource management, communicates regularly with other senior management as to team capacity. Also tries to ensure that the team are used according to their skillsets and work is carried out at the appropriate level Is confident and actively building strong relationships with clients and colleagues

Skills & experience

CTA/ACA/ACCA/CA (or equivalent) qualified Our clients come from all industries, so exposure to multiple sectors would be a distinct advantage Previous Corporate Tax or Mixed Tax experience in a similar role within a practice environment is essential
