Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our team, supporting water asset management projects across the South West. This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday role based at our Newton Abbot office, with paid travel to sites throughout the South West.

We work within both the clean water and wastewater sectors. The role will sometimes involve working away from home (Monday to Friday) -- all accommodation is provided, along with a 30 per night tax-free food allowance.

Full training is provided, making this role suitable for candidates looking to build a long-term career in the water utilities industry.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with loading and unloading materials and equipment General site maintenance and cleaning duties Using basic hand tools and machinery in line with safety procedures Supporting skilled tradespeople on site Following instructions from supervisors and working as part of a team Keeping basic records of work completed and materials used Adhering to all health and safety regulations

Requirements

Previous labouring or construction experience is beneficial but not essential Physically fit and able to carry out manual work Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious Good communication skills Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory You need to be able to get yourself into our Newton Abbot office, where the vans leave for site each morning
