Wednesday - Friday
10:00am - 3:00pm

Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored
1:1 support
to meet the individual needs of the child
Support the development and delivery of
individual play and learning plans
Work closely with the
SENCO
and wider staff team to ensure consistent support
Encourage positive interaction with peers and engagement in group activities
Promote the child's
self-esteem, confidence, and independence
Deliver structured learning activities, adapting approaches in response to the child's needs
Ensure inclusion in all aspects of playgroup life
Follow all playgroup policies and procedures, with particular regard to
SEN, inclusion, health and safety
Maintain strict
confidentiality
regarding children, families, and staff
Provide cover for staff sickness, training, and holidays when required
Demonstrate flexibility in working hours where necessary
Essential Requirements
Experience working with
children with Autism, ADHD, and/or SEN
in an Early Years setting
A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable Qualifications
Level 2 Early Years Childcare qualification
Paediatric First Aid
Safeguarding Training
