We are seeking a compassionate, patient and enthusiastic Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child in Year Five who requires additional support to access learning and thrive in the classroom. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child's life within our nurturing Church of England school community.
The child requires support with:
Emotional regulation and sensory processing; Maintaining focus and engagement in learning tasks; Managing transitions and changes to routine; Developing social interaction and communication skills; Building confidence and independence.
The successful candidate will:
Have experience working with children with SEND, particularly those with sensory sensitivities or communication needs; Be calm, consistent, and able to build trusting relationships; Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to implement personalised strategies; Be flexible and responsive to the child's needs throughout the day; Support the Christian ethos of the school and contribute positively to our inclusive environment

GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths or equivalent is essential.
