Job details: Temporary post commencing ASAP to work 30 hours per week, including support for the child during lunchtime, term time only

The Governing Body seeks to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced, committed and caring part-time temporary 1:1 teaching assistant to join our dedicated staff team.

The school offers a positive learning environment for all and visits to the school are warmly welcomed by prior arrangement with the Headteacher by telephone on 01709 710599. We are dedicated to providing our children with the best possible life chances, supported by our school values and ethos.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

One to One support for a child with special educational needs. Promoting the school's learning culture and ethos. Working with external services and professionals to support the needs of the child. Contributing to the class teacher's ongoing assessments.


The successful applicant will:

A kind and caring attitude towards children of all ages Able to build good relationships with pupils and colleagues. Able to work in partnership with class teachers. Expected to contribute towards the smooth running of the classroom organisation. Be able to maintain confidentiality on school matters. A minimum relevant NVQ Level 2 is essential along with at least recent experience in a school setting.
