Candidate requirements

Essential

Fluent English Mandarin (intermediate minimum, fluent preferred) Proven IELTS teaching experience Minimum of 5 years' tutoring or teaching experience Recognised EFL teaching qualification Able or able to provide an enhanced DBS check

Preferred

Experience as an IELTS examiner Experience designing IELTS preparation materials and practice assessments

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, personalised online IELTS tuition in one-to-one and small group settings Teach in English with occasional Mandarin as needed to support bilingual learners effectively Create tailored lesson plans, practice papers, and targeted resources for exam preparation Provide prompt and constructive feedback to students Support students in achieving their required IELTS band scores for academic or professional purposes
