Salary: 28,000-35,000 per annum



Job Type: Full Time- Permanent



Hours of Work: 40 hours per week

We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a passionate and reliable IELTS Tutor to join our growing team at the School of Coding & AI. You will support the weekly teaching of people in IELTS, delivering high-quality, engaging sessions using pre-designed materials. Your role will be key in helping learners stay motivated, confident and on track with their educational journey, while making a lasting impact through a fresh and modern approach to teaching.

Each month, we empower thousands of children and adults, collaborating with over 150 schools, colleges and businesses nationwide to deliver comprehensive courses in STEM, Coding, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Business Studies.

WHAT WILL YOUR DAY LOOK LIKE?



Curriculum Mastery:

Design and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in IELTS, ensuring that content is current, industry-relevant, and aligned with learning outcomes to support student success.

Course Development & Enhancement:

Continuously review and refine teaching materials, course content, and delivery methods to reflect the evolving needs of the business world and meet educational standards.

Assessment & Evaluation:

Conduct assessments in line with institutional policies, providing clear, constructive feedback to support student progression and academic achievement.

Administrative Excellence:

Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and progress. Prepare lesson plans, reports, and documentation to ensure effective course delivery and compliance with quality standards.

Professional Development:

Keep abreast of emerging trends in business, management practices, and educational methodologies to ensure your teaching remains relevant, impactful, and informed by industry best practices.

Supportive Mentorship:

Contribute to the wider student experience through personal tutoring, excellent classroom teaching and providing support in and outside the classroom.

Inclusive Learning Environment:

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, ensuring all students feel valued, supported and motivated to achieve their full potential.

Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with colleagues, external stakeholders and industry professionals to ensure the curriculum reflects current practices and meets professional requirements.

Team Collaboration:

Work with fellow tutors and management to develop a cohesive, supportive team that drives the success of the department and student outcomes.

Adaptability & Innovation:

Be open to taking on new responsibilities, adapting to changes in curriculum and introducing innovative teaching practices to meet evolving needs in the sector.

Other Duties as Assigned:

Undertake additional duties aligned with your role and responsibilities to support the department's overall objectives.

WHAT BACKGROUND DO I NEED TO HAVE?



Minimum of 1 years English Teaching experience in HE.

TEFL/TESOL/CELTA qualification

First degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.

Masters degree and/or PHD in English or Education or related discipline is desirable.

A Higher Education teaching qualification(s) or willingness to work towards, for example PGCE
