Job Description

We are seeking a creative and tech-savvy Online Content Creator and Social Media Manager to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate is a storyteller at heart, with a passion for creating stunning visual content, particularly video, and a deep understanding of the social media landscape. You will be responsible for developing and executing our content strategy across all digital platforms to build our brand, engage with design and eco-conscious communities, and drive business growth.

Responsibilities



Content Creation:

Develop, shoot, and edit high-quality, engaging video and photo content showcasing our lighting products, design applications, and company story. Lead all phases of video production, from concept and storyboarding to filming and post-production, for various formats like Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube tutorials, and project case studies. Create compelling written content, from insightful blog posts on lighting design trends to catchy captions for social media. Design clean and modern graphics for use across our website, social media, and email marketing campaigns. Maintain a consistent and premium brand voice and visual identity across all platforms.

Social Media Management:

Develop and manage a comprehensive social media content calendar for platforms including Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Schedule and publish daily content that engages our audience and highlights the unique features and benefits of our products. Monitor social channels for trends, user-generated content, and conversations within the interior design, architecture, and sustainability communities. Engage with our followers by responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner. Develop and execute strategies to grow our follower base and increase engagement rates.

Strategy & Analytics:

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in digital marketing, video production, and social media, particularly within the design and home decor sectors. Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of content and social media campaigns. Provide regular reports on content performance and social media growth, using data-driven insights to refine our strategy and demonstrate ROI. Collaborate with the sales and product development teams to align content with broader marketing campaigns and business objectives.

Qualifications



Required:



Proven experience as a Content Creator, Social Media Manager, or a similar role.

A strong portfolio is essential

and must showcase your high-quality photography and video production skills. Proficiency with professional video and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, Adobe Creative Suite). Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop). In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms (especially visually-focused platforms like Instagram and Pinterest) and their best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Preferred:



A passion for or experience in lighting, interior design, architecture, or sustainable technology. Experience with on-camera presentation and hosting is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Film, or a related field. Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Sprout Social). Basic understanding of SEO principles.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 24,000.00-27,000.00 per year
