Job Description

We're seeking a creative, knowledgeable, and student-focused Digital Marketing Tutor to join our online adult learning team. This role is perfect for someone with a background in digital marketing, media, or creative industries who wants to inspire adult learners progressing toward university study or professional advancement in the marketing and media sectors.

Our Access to Higher Education Diploma in (Creative Industries) with pathway in Digital Marketing, is a coursework-based qualification (no exams) designed to prepare learners for higher education or creative careers. The course combines practical and academic elements, covering areas such as:

Digital Marketing: Social media advertising and promotion, stakeholder relationships, mobile marketing, copywriting for digital platforms, and professional practice Creative Media: Creating moving image content, photography, and working to a media client brief Business & Leadership: Marketing research strategies, teamwork and leadership Study Skills & Wellbeing: Academic study techniques, critical thinking, progressing to higher education, and mental health and wellbeing
Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging online tutorials (starting at 2 hours per week, with potential to increase) Provide constructive feedback on coursework, projects, and portfolios Offer one-to-one mentoring and support to adult learners Help students build essential academic and creative skills, including research, writing, and project management Record lessons or make materials available for flexible, self-paced learning Track student progress and collaborate with programme coordinators to ensure learners are fully supported
What We're Looking For

A degree or professional qualification in Digital Marketing, Media, Communications, Business, or a related discipline Professional experience in digital marketing, content creation, social media strategy, or creative media production Experience teaching or mentoring adult learners (online experience preferred) Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills Ability to work independently from a quiet, professional home environment Commitment to the full academic year to provide consistency for learners
Additional Information

Pay: 30 per lesson (rate includes preparation and marking time). Additional one-to-one or assessment work can be invoiced at the same rate. Contract: Self-employed (you'll manage your own tax obligations). Duration: Full academic year. Mode: 100% online / Remote with flexible scheduling.
