Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English Tutor to join our team. As a Tutor, you will work closely with students to provide academic support and guidance.

Please note:

1. This is a FREELANCE role

2. Successful shortlisted candidates will need to deliver a 60-minute online trial lesson to the Director of Learning

We ask for a minimum of

10 hours commitment per week.

Our lessons range from 5pm to 8pm - Monday to Friday and all day Saturday from 9am to 5pm.

Your role will involve assessing students' needs, developing personalised resources, and helping them achieve their educational goals. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on student's lives and contribute to their academic success.

Duties:
- Assess students' academic strengths and weaknesses
- Develop personalised resources
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions
- Teach study skills and effective learning strategies
- Assist with homework assignments and test preparation
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary
- Communicate with the Senior Team to provide updates on student performance

Experience:
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred

Strong knowledge of English Language

ESSENTIAL
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively educate and engage students of different ages and abilities
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students
- Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning styles
