Summary

We are seeking a passionate Tutor to join our team in the UK. This role is vital in helping students build their confidence and achieve academic success through personalised online tutoring sessions. To start with, you will teach one hour a week on a Thursday at 7 pm in term time. This is a GCSE group for AQA and has a maximum of 6 students in the class. You will need to know how to use Google Drive and be confident with your IT skills.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs. Develop engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation. Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress and challenges. Utilise technology to enhance the learning experience. Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and resources.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Tutor or Teacher, preferably in an online setting. PGCE & preferably QTS certificates Enhanced DBS check on the update system Strong knowledge of educational methods and practices. Experience working with children, particularly in a tutoring capacity. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
