Overview

High Impact Academy Ltd is seeking an approachable, supportive and enthusiastic

Entry Level English Tutor

to deliver online learning to students who require accessible, confidence-building English support.

This role is ideal for tutors experienced in helping learners who may have gaps in foundational literacy, require a gentle pace, or benefit from personalised, structured sessions.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver

Entry Level English

sessions online (1:1 or small groups) Support learners with reading, writing, speaking and listening skills Build confidence through structured, achievable tasks Adapt delivery to meet varying abilities and learning profiles Maintain consistent weekly sessions to promote engagement Track and record attendance, progress and key learning milestones

Person SpecificationEssential

Strong knowledge of

Entry Level / Functional Skills English

Experience delivering online tuition Ability to make learning accessible, engaging and low-pressure Patient, encouraging and professional teaching style Minimum

Bachelor's degree

Ability to use online platforms confidently

Desirable

Experience working with SEND learners CPD or training in literacy support, autism, SEMH or differentiated instruction QTS (required)

Hours & Availability

Part-time, flexible scheduling Sessions typically take place between

9:00-15:00

, though some flexibility is possible Fully remote role
