We are seeking a motivated and commercially driven
Online Sales Manager
to manage and grow our portfolio of
600+ trade accounts
, while actively driving new business acquisition through outbound online sales activity. The role is primarily
office-based
, with customer engagement conducted mainly via
email and phone
, and face-to-face meetings arranged where required.
The successful candidate will deliver an exceptional level of service to existing trade customers while identifying, engaging, and converting new
online trade customers
to support continued business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Manage, develop, and maintain strong relationships with over
600 trade accounts
, ensuring consistently high levels of customer service
Act as the primary point of contact for trade customers via
email and phone
, handling enquiries, resolving issues, and building long-term relationships
Proactively
chase outstanding quotes
, securing customer feedback to maximise conversion and close opportunities
Engage with customers to fully
understand their needs
, offering tailored solutions and appropriate product recommendations
Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and increased order frequency
Conduct regular
outbound sales activity
, including phone calls and email outreach, to identify and convert new online trade customers
Maintain structured and consistent contact with both existing customers and prospective clients
Arrange and attend
face-to-face meetings
where required to support key accounts or business development opportunities
Accurately record all customer interactions, sales activity, quotes, and pipeline updates within the CRM system
Work closely with the Sales Manager and internal teams to ensure aligned messaging and a coordinated approach to customer acquisition and retention
Monitor customer behaviour, feedback, and sales trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
Represent the business professionally at all times, ensuring brand values and service standards are upheld

Skills & Experience
Proven experience in online sales, account management, or business development
Confident communicator with strong phone-based and email-led sales skills
Ability to manage a large account base while actively prospecting for new business
Highly organised with strong attention to detail, particularly in quote and pipeline management
Results-driven mindset with experience working to KPIs and sales targets
Comfortable using CRM systems and sales tracking tools
Experience in B2B, trade, or e-commerce environments is advantageous

You are a proactive, customer-focused sales professional who thrives in an office-based, online sales environment. You enjoy building strong customer relationships remotely, understanding customer needs, and converting opportunities through consistent follow-up and structured outbound activity.
