Job Description

Egraduate College is seeking experienced and motivated online tutors to support adult learners studying the Access to Higher Education Diploma (Business Studies). This role is ideal for qualified teachers, industry practitioners, or retired lecturers who enjoy teaching in a flexible, online environment.

Role overview:

Hours: 2-3 hours per week Delivery: Two live Zoom sessions per week Schedule: Weekdays between 9:00am and 3:00pm (UK time) Start date: 12 January 2026 Contract type: Part-time / sessional Teaching materials: Fully provided (lesson plans, slides, assignment briefs)

About the role

You will deliver structured, engaging online lessons to Level 3 Access to HE learners, primarily covering Business Studies and Accounting-related units. Lessons are live but recorded, allowing learners to revisit content at their own pace. Academic support and guidance are a key part of this role.

Key responsibilities

Deliver clear, well-structured online lessons via Zoom Support learners' understanding of Level 3 Business and Accounting concepts Provide academic guidance, formative feedback, and clarification where needed Maintain a supportive and inclusive online learning environment Work closely with the academic team to ensure consistency and quality

About you

Qualified teacher or graduate in Business Studies and/or Accounting Minimum 3 years' teaching experience in relevant subjects At least 2 years' professional or industry experience in business, finance, or accounting-related fields Confident delivering live online lessons with clear spoken English Reliable internet connection and suitable home teaching setup Familiarity with adult learners or Access to HE programmes is an advantage Retired teachers and lecturers are very welcome to apply
