Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to provide personalised educational support to students of various ages and learning abilities. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a positive learning environment, helping students achieve their academic goals, and enhancing their confidence in their abilities. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.

Duties

Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to the specific needs of each student. Develop customised lesson plans that align with the curriculum and address individual learning objectives. Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to ensure effective learning. Foster a supportive and engaging learning atmosphere that encourages student participation and motivation. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

Requirements

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly in subjects relevant to the students' needs. Experience working with children, demonstrating patience and understanding of diverse learning styles. Knowledge or experience in special education is advantageous but not essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information and engage with students. A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed academically.
