About the role

You'll install, commission, and support premium audio/AV systems across hospitality venues and high-value private residences. In homes, you'll deliver white-glove Bang & Olufsen installs and discreet whole-house AV, working cleanly around fine finishes, heritage features, and client schedules.

Key responsibilities

Pre-install & setup

Attend site surveys (venues and residences); review drawings, joinery details, and bracket specs; plan concealed cable routes and fixings appropriate to finishes. Bench configure and label equipment; build tidy, ventilated racks.
Installation (commercial & residential)

Mount and align loudspeakers, subs, PTZ cameras, displays, B&O TVs and Beolab/Beosound products (wall, ceiling and motorised stands). Stealth installs: in-ceiling/in-wall speakers, sub-floor runs, and cable concealment in bespoke joinery. Network setup for AV (PoE/managed switching, VLAN basics, IP plans).
Bang & Olufsen & residential commissioning

Configure Beolink multiroom and app control; pair and tune Beolab/Beosound systems; set up Beoremote workflows. Integrate with home control (Lutron, Control4, Crestron, KNX) via gateways/BeoLiving Intelligence where appropriate. Calibrate rooms: gain-structure, EQ/voicing, bass management, profiles for day/night/party; ensure seamless multiroom sync. Discreet TV installs (fixed/tilt/motorised), cable-free aesthetics, and protection of wall finishes.
Handover & client care

White-glove client briefings; create simple user guides for households and estate managers. Produce as-built drawings/redlines, IP schedules, asset lists, and warranty records; capture sign-off. Aftercare: preventative maintenance, swift remedials, and respectful in-home etiquette. Health, Safety & property protection RAMS and toolbox talks; dust control, floor/wall protection, clean work areas. Working at Height; safe lifting/anchoring into varied substrates; respect for heritage/Listed constraints. Discretion and security awareness; uphold NDAs and privacy requirements.

White-glove standards: protection of finishes, immaculate cable management, tidy terminations, and calm, courteous client comms. Troubleshooting chops: signal flow, ground loops, Wi-Fi/AV-over-IP basics (DHCP/static IP, VLANs). Full UK driving licence; happy to travel UK-wide (and occasional EU).

Nice-to-haves (preferred)

B&O partner training/certification; CEDIA CIT/IST; AVIXA CTS/CTS-I. Experience integrating BeoLiving Intelligence with Lutron/Control4/Crestron.
